I have felt that I have learned a very important lesson about teaching. It's that the teachers attitude has a major impact on the students. The teachers attitude affects student involvement. Also, being more involved with the students helps lessen, what could be at times, an intimidating environment.I think it's important to distinguish the different 'tactics' required to teach both speech and written word.
