Too much lesson planning is not a good idea as it creates a nire fixed, teacher centered lesson. The writing lesson plans has a number of important functions: 1. an aid to planning 2. a working document 3. a record Writing lesson plan we should: -keep it simple, -do not try to script the lesson, -structure it and maintain the same structure, -write an anticipated time for each activity in margin, -check for balance of skills, -keep it flexible. Before we start the lesson, there are a number of practical things we can do to make sure lesson goes smoothly. We need to check that we have our lesson plan and all the necessary aids and materials needed, that equipment works, board is clean and etc. There are some recommendations in article for lesson plan form. We can copy it or make brief notes. We also must pay attention to monitoring our lessons. By focusing on each lesson's strengths and weaknesses teachers will be helping themselves to develop.
