This course served particularly well as a grammar refresher course for me. I am currently teaching at three japanese elementary schools and I also have some very advanced adult english conversation students. They ask many questions that have to do with grammar. My ability to explain their questions clearly and concisely have improved because of this course.
The use of the lesson plan has significantly aided in my lesson planning at my three elementary schools. I was on the right track before I started the TEFL course, and what I have learned has only improved my skills in that aspect.
The teaching skills that this course teaches can also be applied to other areas of teaching. I appreciate that as a piano teacher and former German tutor.
