In this course I learned how to be a good teacher. I learned the tools that I have to have to make sure that my students learn from my class and still enjoy my class. I gained more knowledge about grammar and how to teach grammar to foreign students. I learned about lesson planning and how to create a proper lesson plan. It is important for students to be excited about coming to english class so I gained a lot of knowledge on how to make a class excited and how to get each student involved. I learned a lot about the different tenses in the english language and how to identify each one. Classroom management is also an important factor and I learned how to do that and to keep my class organized. I also got a lot of new ideas for activities to keep my students motivated and excited for english class. I plan to put all my knowledge into action by implementing everything I learned in my TEFL course. I plan to be more prepared for class by focusing on creating a complete and structured lesson plan. I will spend more time on creating fun activities so that my students learn and enjoy my class.
