This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This unit briefly explains in the beginning the three tenses in the English language and how each tense has four aspects (simple, continuous, perfect, perfect continuous), all of them together creates 12 tenses. In this chapter I've learned how to identify and understand the different kinds of uses for the various present tenses, it supplied information about the common mistakes students make in this possibly confusing topic as well as sample activities for the activate stage of ESA. Forms of each present tense were also provided, these forms where for affirmative, negative and question uses. Though there is a general form and rule per tense there are many exceptions that must be taken note of and explained to student, this is due to the many irregularities in the English language. As someone who has studied the language before this has been a good refresher.
