Like the other tense units, I found the future tense unit to be difficult but I recognized patterns that have shown up in the other tenses. It was good to look at the future tenses in comparison to some present tenses that have relationships with future tenses. I have done an activity involving future tenses 'I am going to' and 'I will' for a new years resolutions activity. However, I found that many of the sentences the students produced were incorrect. Now that I know the formation and structure of the verb test, when I do that activity in the future I can include that component in it and see if the students can produce sentences which are more correct.
