This unit was devoted to the most commonly used teaching aids in the classroom. I have listed them below: White or Blackboard, Interactive White Board, Overheard Projector, Visual Aids, Worksheets and work cards, Cassette Recorder and CD players, Videos and DVD's, Video Camera (or the camera on your smartphone), Dictionaries, Course Books, Resource Books, Photocopiers, Computers, and Online Resources. As I have come across all of these in the past, and know how to operate them, it served as merely a helpful refreshing section. However, to important notes I learned in this section include trying to give the students English dictionaries for language learners, as opposed to solely using translation dictionaries, and to partner students up when watching a movie, with one student watching the film and describing it to the other (who cannot see) -- these are both wonderful ideas to get the learners more immersed in English.
