In this unit I learnt all the different parts of speech used to build sentence and how to use them in the correct grammar form. The different types of nouns, adjectives and articles. I learnt how to identify them, and the correct way to use them in, past, present and future tense. I learnt how some words change when their is more, and some don't change at all. I learnt some can be accountable and some can't.grammar is how we structure sentences. each word is classified according to its meaning and purpose. nouns, pronouns, adjectives, adverbs, prepositions, verbs, conjunctions-- these are all major parts of speech. grammar is a way to catagorize words and sentences so we can learn (and communicate) better. without structure, it is difficult to choose the proper word to use in a sentence that conveys your meaning.
