Receptive and productive skills are equally important and all of these need to be incorporated into lessons in order to have a balanced approach. Receptive mode incorporated reading and listening. Reading skills involve skimming and scanning, using predictive skills, using context and understanding information within. Material selected should be varied in order to cater for the varied interest levels in the class.In this unit,it mainly teach us how to manage our classes from different aspects,for example, eye contact,gesture,voice,grouping students,classroom arrangement,writing on the board,giving instructions,maintaining discipline and establishing rapport. Especially , I think when i give intructions , i should check if they can understand. Beacause my students are preschool students, i need to check their understanding.
