This unit was about the past tenses. Similar to the present tenses, the past tenses also have the simple, conintuous, perfect and perfect continuous form. I think it's easy to understand the past tenses once you know the present tenses, because they're pretty much the same. For example past continuous uses the auxiliary verb to be, but in the past tense: was/were + verb+ing. So in the present tense 'I am watching tv now', you can now put it in the past tense: 'I was watching tv yesterday'. Same goes for the other tenses. I think one of the main thing students will have trouble with is learning all the irregular verbs. I remember being in school and having to learn them, but still on this day, I remember them all. It's like riding a bike, once you know how to, you'll never forget!
