This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
It was really helpful for me to learn about the different methodologies because I've observed them in classroom settings while volunteering as a teacher's assistant, but had not been specifically taught the difference between methodologies. I like that the unit also provided examples of different ESA lessons, such as the 'straight arrow', 'boomerang', and 'patchwork' because lessons are not always according to the 'straight arrow' method, so it was really helpful to see examples of other ESA lessons and how they flow from one stage to the next. I also really appreciate the section on correction and feedback because I think that feedback is very important in any subject of learning and it was insightful to get the do's and don'ts of correcting and providing feedback to students.
