Conditionals and reported speech are essential in efficient conversation. But these are difficult to study and master because the rules could be confusing. The first and second conditionals are confusing, even to native speakers. For sure, non-English speakers are having a hard time applying it to their conversations. Much more for lower-level students. Nevertheless, these are all needed for more efficient conversation.This unit, which explores each future tense, was helpful in showing the contrast between each tense. This unit simply explains the differences between tenses, which is helpful in finding ways to teach each tense to students in the simplest terms. The highlighting of typical student mistakes/errors is also an effective tool -- if a teacher is aware of common errors, he or she can more easily spot and prevent or correct them.
