There are several methodologies in teaching the English language, to name a few: grammar-translation, audio-lingualism, the lexical approach, task- based learning, etc. A teacher should be able to evaluate the students' level and apply the most stable method in class. the three important parts of any lesson are Engage, Study and Activate, they should be present in any lesson.Many times, students will automatically look to the teacher for correct answers instead of trying themselves. If the teacher obliges them with the answer each time, it can become a detrimental problem. Instead, focus on giving positive encouragement. I do think each student is special in their own way and it's up to the teacher to find the best method to approach each student
