A very useful unit describing tenses in a clear; concise way.
The importance of auxilary verbs is highlighted in this section as we see their role in providing a specific tense. Many of the typical errors/mistakes were concerning misuse of auxilary verbs, either leaving them out or confusing them as base form verbs.
I now understand the grammatical structures that form the 4 different present tenses. I look forward to implementing them in my lesson plans and to be able to give better explanations to my students.
As I work often with younger learners, most of the activities suggested in the activate stage appear too complicated and advanced. I hope to find better suited examples of how to deliver grammar to the young learner during the 50 hour module, TEFL for YL.
