In this part, the four basic skills in the language are brought to my attention. Their analysis with the focus on how to teach them is mind-opening and worth considering when coping with the areas of reading, listening, speaking and writing as the subjects in classrooms. Since I teach Reading and Writing in one book and Listening and Speaking in the other one, I am very interested in how to incorporate those areas into my lessons efficiently. The reason why I feel comfortable about this unit is that it has paired Reading and Listening as well as Speaking and Writing; the passive vocabulary is used with Reading and Listening while the active one with Speaking and Writing which is why we ought to look at teaching the language in such a way more often than we do.
