This unit focused on the different types of future tenses: Future Simple, Future Continuous, Future Perfect, and Future Perfect Continuous. In addition, the tense has a ‘Going To’ Future form as well as the Present Simple and Present Continuous versions. In the video, each variation included positive, negative and question examples. I learned the grammatical construction on the future tense formations, and also gained a better understanding of when each form is used. Having reviewed the present and past tenses, I found the grammatical constructions for the future tenses similar in scope. Finally, the video included useful examples of sentences as well as helpful teaching ideas, many which include students using pictures to describe future activities.
