It is true coditional can cause a lot of confusion among the students. The only solution I see is to create a strong base of rules as shown above and practice actively the usage of the grammatical model. I think this topic may create difficulties not only with undestanding of the meanings of 0,1,2,3 condititionals, but also with creating a habit of correct tense usage and word changes. If aware of it teaching this topic is a way easier.In this unit, I learnt that modals, the different modals has various possible, the rank is may/might/could-can-should-must. And the basic rules are obligation, possible, permission, ability, advice. The other point is relative clauses, which describes, identifies, or givers further information about noun. Teaching idea, cutting up varied sentences, and let them match it. And I can let a student write a general knowledge then ask others.
