This unit was all about the different tools and resources used in a classroom with their pros and some cons. I think it's important as a teacher to know what tools can be utilized and what the students gain from each of the resources. In my opinion, a whiteboard will never go out of style and it is easy to use, quick to erase and start over again. Smartboards are an amazing technology tool, but they are not always convenient or practical. If I teach in a rural village in Thailand, the funds, electricity, and internet will not be available to use. The other problem with smart boards is at any moment the power could go out or some piece of technology could not work and you might have to completely adjust and change your lesson without the tools you planned for.
