This unit is based on the management of a classroom. Starting with the teacher themselves. It explains the importance eye contact, gestures, body language and voice. Saying what to avoid and what to try and ensure happens. It then moves onto explain when different types of grouping are suitable and the advantages and disadvantages of each option. You can arrange the classroom to a way which suits the grouping you intend, you could use orderly rows for whole class activities, the horseshoe for pair work or separate tables for small group work. It finishes by detailing how the teacher sghould actually run the lesson itself, everything from writing on the board to teacher talk time, and how to avoid to much of both, to ensure student involvement.
