This unit was challenging because I am a beginner in the teaching field. I learned a lot about managing a classroom, whether its a small or large classroom, there are many different factors to approach a classroom. From simple body gestures, to maintaining eye contact without being disrespectful. It also broke down on how to give each student equal attention and not pick favorites.The course book material is available as a tried and tested source for teaching. However, the materials may be outdated and not specific enough for all students. It is the created materials which can provide a supplement to the lesson that can be used to fill in the gaps of the course book. Teachers may omit, replace, supplement, or adapt lessons as they deem fit for their students.
