There are many different types of tests and evaluations when it comes to teaching young learners. Before starting any course we should spend some time during the first lesson to test the students in order to know what is their level and we should also make a needs analysis. Those along with the consideration of limiting factors will help with the design and adjustments of the course syllabus. The syllabus comes in various types as well. We will consider what we will be teaching and the needs of that particular course in order to pick the right syllabus type. It is important that the syllabus includes revision and achievement tests and always keep in mind what language points we initially wanted to cover and how long is the course going to be.
