This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This unit was a good overview of present tenses. I feel that I have not learned anything about present tenses in terms of grammar (as I have taught English for several years), but I have learned several new activities. I like the activity in which students are given pieces of paper with results written on them, and students must create the question in the correct tense. This requires more thought than simply asking for example sentences, and ideally could be done with answers in several different present, past, and future tenses, so that the students really need to think about the appropriate tense and structure. I also like the idea of a \"developing situation\" assignment, though this may be complicated for students typically at this level.
