In this chapter, I have learned the value of use of eye contact, gestures and voice usage in the classroom. The use of these skills are vital for the success of teacher to build rapport with students. This is especially true with learning students names for various reasons. Since I already have a great deal of knowledge about classroom arrangements, this is not a major concern. However, learning about TTT and STT was valuable for me to use in the classroom to improve learning time and not creating â€œslient time.â€ Finally, the chapter share important information how to maintain disclipline in the classroom with my own behavior as well as making sure students follow principles governed by the school to behave in classroom settings.
