Like the present and past tense, the future tense has simple, continuous, perfect, and perfect continuous variations. However, infinitive statements, present simple, and present continuous can also be used in the future tense. Future simple has many usages such as describing future facts, predictions, and spontaneous decisions. Future continuous can indicate an activity will be in progress at a future time. Future perfect indicates an action completed before a time in the future. Future perfect continuous specifies how long something has continued at a future time.
