I found this unit informative and highly detailed. It taught me how important pronunciation can be in forming English speech in a way that accurately replicates regular English speech. How pronunciation can be used to express intent, emotions etc. I learnt the complexities of phonology and how complicated this must be to foreign students. What times would be best to teach this, and the various ways that it can be taught.I've always known from my foreign language studies that conditionals are especially difficult. This lesson confirmed that the English conditional is confusing and hard to use correctly even for a native speaker! I think conditional clauses are best left to advanced students. It was especially elucidating to me that the conditional form changes depending on whether an action is feasible or never likely to happen at all.
