This unit allowed me to more independently envision a lesson plan for the example given. It listed functions that a lesson plan should have, and what should be included for maximum effectiveness. The sample lesson plan also gave a detailed and useful template for future use - it reinforces the point of the lesson plan - to be flexible but provide a general guideline for the lesson ahead.This unit provided an overview of the different types of teaching aids and teaching equipment.
I never thought so deeply about the disadvantages and advantages of the different types of teaching aids but I was reminded to use a good combination, especially with the availability of new technology now.
The online resources at the end of the section were useful for future lesson planning.
