This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
In this unit, We have gone over the past tenses, something very important especially here in Indonesia where I am an English as a Foreign Language Teacher to natives. I see many times there is much confusion with the tenses as their native language has no verb tenses, only time words to know when an action happened, is happening, or will happen. This has been very beneficial for me to go over these tenses again. One has to have a passion for teaching in order to be successful. This unit outlined the many ways of handling large classes in comparision to small ones. The ability level of the students is also of importance when deciding the type of activities to be given.A teacher should have a good rapport with his students. This has been a very interesting and informative course and will definitely assist in my TEFL career.
