Whilst indeed a short unit, it covered the nevertheless important topic of how to teach reception skills. Personally, I have always liked using authentic listening and reading material for my own learning and would be very much inclined to employ the same approach in English teaching. As such, I found the section about text selection and language difficulty especially useful.Very useful unit. Especially the samples that I can amend and use it to my future students. Again it is good to do another reminder test for the ESA(Engage, Study, Activate). Well understood with the disadvantage of using the course books. I have learned my English through the course book. Therefore, this unit was very interesting and can compare to my experience in the past.
