This unit discussed teaching the receptive skills which are reading and listening,the reasons and motives,specialist skills,ways of approaching language difficulty,and the keys to successful receptive skill lessons.It also laid out examples and situations and exercises in the end so the teachers can have ideas on designing the lesson plans using the methods taught earlier.In this unit we have gone over the five forms of conditionals, and have had example sentence structures for each, this particular aspect can be quite difficult for English as a second language learners and teachers of English as a second language. Then we moved on to reported speech, and the ways and rules on how to change and back shift direct speech into reported speech.
