In this unit we watched two videos in which the instructor taught an ESA straight arrow lesson. THe first video the teacher as uninterested, did not monitor students, and could not provide clear details to help the students understand the lesson. The students therefore did not want to participate and they did were c0nfused when working on worksheets. In the second video the teacher allowed room for more rapport with the students by being friendly, smiling, and knowing their names. The teacher spoke clearer and provided examples of the grammatical points that were being taught. There was more student participation and better motivation for the student because the teacher provide an environment to make the students feel comfortable.
