From my experience being abroad, many people focus on speaking while I think that being able to listen and understand is more important. Because of this, I think that this unit provides a good foundation towards teaching these \"receptive\" skills that are so important for learning a new language. A favorite part of this included the example, which helped me know how to put it into a lesson plan.It is very basic rules and grammars I used to know. However, it was good to check again when do they use in which specific times. Also, there were good tips on how to teach students to practice on what they learnt on each section. I think it is important to teach this section clearly because it is very basic so clear distinguish of each and clear usages and expressions are needed for the student.
