This unit covered two of the four basic skills in languages, reading and listening. It went over how and why read and listen. It also explained some of the problems associated with them as well. This unit was pretty informative. It helped me realize the need to be able to read the students and focus on getting them energized to absorb the information. Also to keep the subjects relative to the class so that they keep the interest. The further I along I am in this course the deeper my respect I have to the civilian teachers. Me being a Military instructor I had a captive audience with the same goal. Get through the class take the test and pass the practical in the shortest time possible so they could get back to work.
