I think this unit was very helpful. I currently teach English and I think learning about how to manage classes was important. I especially enjoyed learning about discipline in the classroom. I learned it's important to always remain calm when possible. I also learned it is important to act immediately if a problem arises. I learned that classroom management includes being enthusiastic, organizing well, and also being able to discipline. Learning about how to group students and how to arrange the classroom was also interesting to me because considering the pros and cons is important when thinking about how you want the class to run. I also enjoyed learning that when giving instructions it is important to keep it simple.
