This unit dealt with various types of learners and classes based on level and age groups. It states that although younger learners are more energetic and have better skills for pronunciation and listening, older students will most likely be self-motivated to study and have a better ability to complete more difficult tasks. Personally I work with younger students and found that the section on teaching younger classes was very reflective of a realistic Elementary and Middle-school level classroom. Although I have not yet had the opportunity to teach adults, reading through the Business English section and the one-on-one section of this unit inspired me to come up with new ideas to create more complex English lessons.
