The two videos were very different. The first one indicating how not to teach a class and the second one how a lesson should be conducted. In the second video the teacher was more engaging, and smiling, paying attention to his students. There was more interaction and correcting where necessary. The difference is very clear, being happy, engaging and ?present? is crucial.Testing can cause students to become nervous or unsure of their ability if presented as strictly an evaluation. Tests have a variety of functions from placing students appropriately to preparing for external exams but in almost every case the teacher and learner should agree that it is a TOOL to assess progress, NOT a value judgment or comparison to other students in the class.
