Using materials are very important part of a lesson to make a lesson very interesting for students. Teachers should use the materials carefully as the right materials should be used to maximise the learning. I think it is good idea to know students' English level, skills and interests before choosing the material and carefully choose the material depends on the class level.From this unit, I have learnt that the atmosphere in the classroom depends on the attitude of the teacher. If the teacher is open and friendly, it creates a safe environment for students without the fear of being judged. I have also learnt that it is very important to learn each individuals' name as they will feel more involved in the class and more inclined to participate.
