This unit covered modals, phrasal verbs and passive voice. For modals, it covered the auxiliary verbs, its uses examples for present, future and past. The next part was focused on active and passive voice and how to change an active sentence into a passive one, with the same meaning. Then lastly the phrasal verbs, which uses a verb followed by one or two particles, moving on to explain the three types of phrasal verbs, intransitive, transitive separable and transitive inseparable. For me, i found as i went through the unit, understanding the modals and their uses got easier as well as when changing an active sentence into a passive one. The phrasal verbs are still the hardest for me to recognise in a sentence.
