Unit 20 entiteled 'Troubleshooting' looks at some of the problem situations that a teacher might be confronted with in the classroom.
Suggestions are given on how to deal with a first lesson scenario, large classes and reluctant students. This unit also explains what to do when facing a group of students of varying levels and how to avoid as much as possible the use of native language in the classroom.
I find the information provided in unit 20 very helpful because it prepares me for possible difficuties and it shows how to turn a disadvantage into an advantage. As so many times before, while studying for this course, I realized again how important it is for a teacher to be organized, flexible and ceative.
