Being a fluent English speaker who has grown up in a mostly English-speaking environment, I have not made many errors in terms of the present tense. However, the detailed studying of the structure and usage of each tense is enlightening and helps with the challenging task of explaining errors to students. This unit has certainly equipped me with the proper knowledge and skills to teach with clarity and define each aspect with its proper form and usage. The present continuous and present perfect continuous tenses can look rather similar and appear confusing to the average student. However, a sound knowledge of the structure of the sentence should be able to give the student the correct answer.
