In this Unit, we took a look at some specialized groups in English class. The term beginner has such a range of connotations, it is often helpful to think in terms of categories of a beginner. Many students will fall into two or even three categories: the absolute beginner, the false beginner, the adult beginner, the young beginner, the beginner without Roman alphabet.Seems like there is loads of tests to evaluate learners language levels. This is a very important aspect of the course because without evaluation the teacher might bore the learners with language levels that they already mastered. I do like the progress test as it can be informal but very informational tests and the learners are not that nervous when taking the test.
