This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
In Unit Six I learned for four past tenses in the English language. The four tenses are Past Simple, Past Continuous, Past Perfect and Past Perfect Continuous. Each play an important role in being able to comprehend and communicate in English. Although I had learned each of these tenses before this Unit it was very helpful to refresh all of the important and have the content available to refer back to in the future. This unit talks about modal auxiliary verbs, phrasal verbs, relative clauses and the passive voice. Modals can express obligation, possibility, permission, ability and advice. They can also convey different degrees of formality. Phrasal verbs are multi-word verbs while the relative clause is a dependent clause that modifies a noun. Finally, in the passive voice, the focus is switched to the subject, not on the doer.
