In this lesson I learned about the differences between authentic and non-authentic materials (as well as how to produce my own materials), the importance of lesson planning, and some new sources for worksheets and materials. By seeing an example of a lesson plan I was able to see exactly what my personal aims can be as well as the type of description necessary for the procedure. Additionally, I was given issues that I need to take into consideration when making non-authentic materials. I feel that I have learned the most about how to create non-authentic materials from this lesson. I had never thought of keeping in mind how I will organize the students when creating the material.
