The last unit of this course was very good and easy to understand. I learned that there are two kinds of students groups that can exist: a new group or an existing group. In the first lesson, it is necessary to find out about the students whether it be their interests, needs, aspirations, or areas of difficulty/level. Also, never work on material in the first lesson, but rather establish rapport with them. Also, I learned that warmers can be helpful to get the minds of the students working in English, and these activities should be fun and short. I thought it was important for me to see that the teacher should never respond on the native language of the students. For me, this is going to be a challenge to help them understand what I am saying in English. However, I think it could be a good idea to say something in English and have them tell me what I said in Spanish to help them gain confidence in the language of English that they do understand it. Overall, I really enjoyed the course as a whole and would recommend it to everyone!
