The Conditionals is an interesting topic as it has a 'if' clause that sets a condition that has to be satisfied before action takes place. There are five conditionals set for five different types of scenarios. The zero conditional is just about the actions and facts. First conditional is about a possible situation that will happen due to condition set. Second conditional seems to have some sort of hope which is likely not to come true. Third conditional seems to be about a hypothetical non-action and impossible consequence. Mixed conditional is a combination of second and third conditionals. Reported speech and direct speech seems to be used on written articles and possibly one scenario is reporting an interview conducted or an essay.
