In this unit, I found question four a bit tricky as in the sentence, ??John had finished cooking.?? ?(cooking) is a gerund and being puzzled, I had to research this statement and most of the others. However, I found that this was not the only tricky question but almost all of the questions on usage of grammar are uniquely worded and rephrased so as to make the student think doubly hard. I hope I have not made too many mistakes for these parts of speech. I found it very interesting indeed and it is time to buy an American Grammar book as my old English one is not as detailed as the present published articles in the markets these days., also, to a point, I believe grammar of yesteryear is not the same as the grammar of 2017.
