I have found this section enormously interesting and highly thought provoking. When you examine the extensive cross section of ages and cultures that you may be faced with, it reinforces the awareness of how flexible you need to be as a potential teacher. Also, you recognize that knowledge is only a part of the requirement. A psychological understanding, sensitivity, communication skill and patience are equally critical requirements. I recognize that a serious amount of thinking time must be given over to planning and understanding what you will be dealing with in the way of students. The more time invested in that, the greater and more successful the actual lesson time will be.
