This unit was a great refresher course for basic English grammar. I re-learned the various parts of speech and I realized that English is definitely a difficult language to learn for non-native speakers. English has many exceptions to the rule and it's impossible to memorize every rule. This also why have native speakers from all walks of life is important. It gives the students a chance to see how English is spoken among regular people and also gives the teachers a chance to help others communicate in one of the most commonly spoken languages in the world. I definitely need to create a basic grammar chart after completing that unit.
