I have learned in which case I should use authentic materials and inauthentic materials. For example, even if it seems more interesting, it is better to start with inauthentic materials with beginners. Created materials will help better to focus on dedicated subjects. Authentic materials will be used better with more advance students to understand authendic culture related to the studied topic. Also, I learned that even if course books its related material provide a tried and tested syllabus, a teacher should always incorporate created materials to keep students interested and engaged in a lesson.
