This Unit (number 7) was built in order to help us comprehend the receptive skills of our students. Sometimes, it is fairly difficult to understand and divide which part of the two receptive skills of our students are more important, or, which one could lead to a better understanding of the language and could benefit the students more - reading or listening? It is essential for a teacher to include a variety of teaching materials (reading, listening, writing and/ or speaking) in a lesson in order to make it more productive and effective for the students. However, any skillful teacher will sense what type of materials best suit his/ her students, will choose topics of the lesson carefully and will also try to engage his/her students in the lesson as much as possible.
