Unit 16 covered conditionals and reported speech. The unit broke down the five main types of conditionals and explained how each one affects the sentences they are used in. I appreciated how the unit offered sample sentences for each conditional as well as providing insight into the areas where students have the most difficulty learning the subject. I also appreciated how the unit offered several teaching ideas for covering the material. My greatest take away from this unit is being able to key on the differences between each conditional as well as stressing the importance of a good understanding of verb tenses and how they change for reported speech.
